There is no buffer requirement for Fast Pass Funded Sim accounts. However, traders must meet the following conditions before requesting a payout and for subsequent payout requests.



Payout Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a payout, the account must meet all of the following conditions:

Important:  Once you submit a payout request, do not resume trading until you have received your payout. Your next Day 1 begins at the start of the following trading session, not the session in which the payout was received. For example: if you request a payout on Wednesday at 7 PM CT and receive it on Thursday at 3 AM CT, that Thursday morning falls within the Thursday session (5 PM CT Wednesday – 4 PM CT Thursday). Day 1 of your new cycle does not begin until the Friday session opens at 5 PM CT Thursday, with that day counting once it closes at 4 PM CT Friday. For payouts processed on a Saturday, Day 1 of your new cycle is the Monday session, which runs from 5 PM CT Sunday to 4 PM CT Monday.


Minimum Profitable Day Requirements

Each profitable trading day must meet the following minimum profit amount based on account size:


Trailing Maximum Drawdown (TMD) Adjustment

On the first payout request, if the Trailing Maximum Drawdown (TMD) has not yet reached the starting account balance, it will automatically move up to the starting account balance and remain fixed there moving forward.


Consistency Requirement

For accounts opened on and after July 26 2026, accounts must satisfy the consistency objective: no single day can make up more than 45% of your total gross profits (gross profits being current profits + payouts)


For accounts opened before July 26 2026, there is no consistency objective in the Funded Sim account.


Payout Limits

Payout requests are limited to a maximum of 50% of the account balance and are also capped based on account tier:

Payout example on $50k FS account (for accounts opened before July 26 2026):


First Payout 

Current balance after trading, making profits: $6,000 ($56k)

✅ Five full winning days of $150+

✅ Balance above starting account balance

You qualify for a payout of 50% of your account balance (up to $2000 -the 50k payout cap)

Take a $2,000 payout → your balance is now $4,000 ($54K).

This becomes your new starting balance for future profitability and payout trigger completion.


Second Payout

Current balance after trading and making profits: $5,000

Starting balance after your last payout: $4,000

✅ Five full winning days of $150+

✅ You are profitable from your most recent payout ($4,000 → 5,000)
You qualify for a payout of 50% of your account balance (up to $2,000 payout cap)

Take a $1,800 payout → your balance is now $3,200.

This becomes your new starting balance for future profitability and payout trigger completion


Third Payout

Current balance after trading and making profits: $4,500

Starting balance after your last payout: $3,200

✅ Five full winning days of $150+

✅ You are profitable since your most recent payout ($3,200 → $4,500)
You qualify for a payout of 50% of your account balance (capped at $2000).

Take a $2,000 payout → your balance is now $2,500.

This becomes your new starting balance for future profitability.


Fourth Payout

Current balance: $1,800

Starting balance after your last payout: $2,500

✅ Five full winning days of $150+

❌ You are not profitable from your most recent payout ($1,800 < $2,500)

You do not qualify for a payout.
To qualify: Continue trading until your balance is above your post-payout starting balance of $2,500.


Payout example on $50k FS account (for accounts opened after July 26 2026):


First Payout 

Current balance after trading, making profits: $6,000 ($56k), profits $1200 each day for 5 days.

✅ Five full winning days of $150+

✅ Balance above starting account balance

✅ Consistency requirement achieved (largest profitable day is $1200 of $6000, so 20%, below the 45% requirement).

You qualify for a payout of 50% of your account balance (up to $1500 -the 50k payout cap)

Take a $1,500 payout → your balance is now $4,500 ($54.5K).

This becomes your new starting balance for future profitability and payout trigger completion.


Second Payout

Current balance after trading and making profits: $5,500, profits of $1000, $200 each day for 5 days.

Starting balance after your last payout: $3,500

✅ Five full winning days of $150+

✅ You are profitable from your most recent payout ($3,500 → 5,000)

✅ Consistency requirement achieved (largest profitable day is $1200 of gross profits of $7500, so ~17.2%, below the 45% requirement). Note gross profits = current profit + payout = $5,500 + $1500 = $7,000.
You qualify for a payout of 50% of your account balance (up to $1,500 payout cap)

Take a $1,500 payout → your balance is now $4,000.

This becomes your new starting balance for future profitability and payout trigger completion


Third Payout

Current balance after trading and making profits: $14,000, profits of $10,000 on 1 day, $150 each day for 4 days.

Starting balance after your last payout: $4,000

✅ Five full winning days of $150+

✅ You are profitable since your most recent payout ($4,000 → $14,000)
❌ Consistency requirement failed (largest profitable day is $10,000 of gross profits of $17,000, so ~58.8%, above the 45% requirement). Note gross profits = current profit + payout = $14,000 + $3,000 = $17,000.


Transition to Funded Live

If a trader is demonstrating consistency in the funded sim account, TradeDay may move the trader to funded Live before the 5th payout request.
