What is the trade for a minimum number of days objective?

Modified on Mon, 1 Jun at 7:43 AM

  • There is no upper time limit, but we need to see a minimum number of days worth of trading data in order to complete this objective. These days do not need to be consecutive.
  • For QuickPay accounts the minimum number of trading days is 5.
  • For FastPass accounts the minimum number of trading days is 3.
  • Every day you make a trade will count towards this objective.
  • Traders finishing the profit target and the consistency objectives before completing the required days are required to continue to trade in the style they have been - NO sitting in a funding zone scratching 1 lot micros.

A note on completing the challenge early.

If you complete the profit target and consistent days objectives before having traded enough days, please continue to trade the way you have been trading, so we can get an understanding of your performance over the entire period.

If you finish the challenge in less days than required and  'sit in the funding zone' scalping 1 lot micros waiting to pass, we may extend the evaluation period.

We would like to see the required days of trading data, not less. As such we require all days of trading to be similar to each other.

Material changes in the number of trades taken, changes in the contracts traded, or changes in the times of day the majority of trading has taken place will all raise red flags. We will review the trading and if we believe these were an attempt to reduce the risk in order to see out the evaluation, we will extend it.

We are looking to fund traders who are confident in their ability to make consistent returns, not traders who can take advantage of a system.

Why do we have this objective?

TradeDay is evaluating your skills as a trader, we want to back traders that can demonstrate consistent and profitable trading over a period of time.

If you managed to achieve the profit target to quickly, then this wouldn’t tell us much about your potential. By asking you to trade for the minimum number of days we can see how you perform over a period of time.
