What happens if I lose my trading account?

Modified on Mon, 29 Jan 2024 at 02:19 PM

If you break a trading rule, trading will be shut down, and you will lose your trading account.

Unlike other firms, we will return any profits that are owed to you, after any costs that remain for TradeDay (these costs will typically be an operation fee of $25, plus a final balance bank wire fee of $25-$40).

Please note these exceptions: Windfall profits from trading during Tier 1 data releases will be withheld, traders found in breach of our prohibited trade practices, and virtual profits on simulation.

If you lose your trading account, and you would like to continue with TradeDay, you will need to contact support@tradeday.com with a request to join the evaluation program again. We will review your trading and make a decision based on how you approached previous evaluation, and your funded trading.
