Scaling a funded trader

Modified on Thu, 15 Aug at 7:20 PM

  • The maximum position limit scales by 1 lot for every $2000 in profits you have in your trading account, up to a maximum of 25 lots.

--------

At TradeDay we give our traders fixed position limits during the evaluation.

When a trader is funded these limits get mapped to the funded trading account they have qualified for.

For example, if you take and pass our 50k evaluation, you get a 5 lot contract maximum position limit (50 lot Micros) in the funded account.

The maximum position limit can scale by 1 lot for every $2000 in profits you have in your trading account, up to a maximum of 25 lots.

After this amount scaling will be at the discretion of the trading team.

For example, if you graduate from the 50K evaluation:

Profits in the trading account are $0 =  5 lot max position limit

Profits in the trading account are $2000 = 6 lot max position limit

Profits in the trading account are $10,000 = 10 lot max position limit

Position limits are adjusted at the EOD, 5.30 pm CT, and are adjusted down to reflect trading losses or profit withdrawals.
