How much does market data cost?

Modified on Thu, 22 May at 1:12 PM

  • Level 1 (Top of Book) market data for all CME Exchanges is free to traders on evaluations.
  • Level 1 (Top of Book) market data for all CME Exchanges is free to traders on  Funded Sim accounts.
  • Market data is $140 per month, per Exchange for Funded Live traders.

What's included?

TradeDay provides Level 1 (Top of Book) market data for all permitted products on the CME group Exchanges.

Do you need level 2?

If you need Level 2 (Depth of Market) data, it is not included, but you must purchase it separately at your own cost.

  • For the Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and associated platforms, you can purchase level 2 data feeds directly inside the Tradovate platform, under the Setting menu. Please note that only the Level 2 bundle (all exchanges) is available for purchase, and it costs $49 per month.

  • If you are using the TradeDayX platform, Level 2 data can be purchased in the shop inside the Member's Area.

Please note that when you purchase level 2 data, you are purchasing the feed for the calendar month in which you make the purchase, and it will expire on the last day of the month. You will then need to repurchase it on the 1st of the next month to continue using it.

Funded Live traders

On graduating to the Funded Live from a Funded Sim account, you will need to purchase the professional market data feed to trade the account. This is because the CME Exchange now considers you a professional trader.

The professional data feed costs $140 per month, per Exchange. Unfortunately, you cannot use any personal data feeds you already pay for or have elsewhere.
