What happens if a subscription payment fails?

Modified on Thu, 23 Jan at 9:27 AM

For Credit/Debit Card Payments via the NMI Gateway:

  1. The NMI gateway allows you to update your payment method anytime (e.g., for expiring cards or switching to a different card) before the subscription renewal date.

  2. If a subscription payment fails on the renewal date, the subscription will be canceled and access to TradeDay will be closed.

  3. If you would like to continue with TradeDay, you must purchase a new subscription.

  4. If you do not want to lose progress on your evaluation, you may contact [email protected] to request reinstatement of the trading permission after you have purchased the new evaluation.

For PayPal Payments:

  1. If a subscription payment fails, access to TradeDay gets suspended. However, your evaluation progress remains intact.

  2. PayPal will automatically attempt to process the subscription payment up to three times over the next 15 days.

  3. If the payment is successful, access to TradeDay will be reinstated, and you can continue trading from where you left off.

  4. If payment is not received after these attempts, the evaluation will be shut down permanently.

Important Notes:

  • Please do not continue the evaluation during the payment suspension period, as any profit or loss (PnL) generated during this time will be forfeited.

  • To avoid disruptions, ensure your payment method is valid and up to date.
